IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Therapy
Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions. After just one use, patients notice significant improvements in the complexion and clarity of the skin. Lumecca operates using photothermolysis, which provides a photofacial through the delivery of a comfortable light treatment. Concerns that can be treated with Lumecca include age spots (red/brown pigmentations), vascular lesions such as facial telangiectasias (spider veins) and poikiloderma, rosacea (redness), freckles, and sun damage.

Results can be seen with just one Lumecca treatment. Depending on the skin concern, we will typically initially recommend 3 treatments in order to show the greatest improvement in skin appearance. These treatments are 4-6 weeks apart. Once initial treatment is complete, maintenance treatments can be performed and are available at a lesser cost per treatment. Length of time per procedure depends on total body area being treated. |
